The 2011-2012 Pillars of Strength program will choose agency partners that not only fit the mission and vision of the Junior League of Nashville (JLN), but also promote and advance children's health - the cornerstone of our rich and celebrated legacy. The focus is projects or programs that enable children to thrive socially, emotionally, physically, developmentally and educationally.
JLN will choose nonprofit agencies to partner with for a one year period. The JLN will provide members as volunteers to approximately 10 agencies. Junior League volunteers will serve from June 1, 2011 to May 31, 2012. Agency partners should be able to utilize at least 10 JLN volunteers requiring 40 hours of service time per volunteer during the 12-month period.
