Addressing the Needs of Children for Over 85 Years
Founded in 1923 and originally known as the Junior League Home for Crippled Children, the Junior League Home’s purpose was to provide free and skilled convalescent care for orthopedically crippled children, especially those with Polio. The physical location of the Home has moved several times over the years. The Home is currently located at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and elsewhere in the community through various programs and projects of the Home. Through gifts and volunteerism, we are proud to continue the work of the pioneering women who came before us!
