The Junior League of Nashville is an organization of women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism. We welcome your interest in learning more about membership admission to the Junior League of Nashville.
Admission to the Junior League
In order to be considered for membership in the Junior League of Nashville, prospective members must:
- Be 23 years of age or older (as of May 31, 2019 for the June 2019 class)
- Live in the greater Nashville area
- Possess a commitment to voluntarism
- Attend a New Member Information Session
Candidates must have attended one New Member Information Session for admission. Admission meetings for Spring 2020 TBD.
Provisional Course for New Members
The Junior League of Nashville trains a class of first-year members (Provisionals) to be effective volunteers and leaders in our community each year. Provisional members complete a comprehensive training series that allows them to learn about our League structure and programs, as well as experience some of our community programs first-hand.
Once admitted as a Provisional member of the Junior League of Nashville, members must complete the following Provisional Course expectations:
Provisional Retreat (1)
Provisional Meetings (attend 5 out of 7 meetings)
GMMs (4, one of these may be a Board or Council Meeting)
Members in Motion/Monthly Service Options (2)
Board or Council meeting (1)
Provisional members are also expected to pay JLN dues.

Transferring to the JLN?
To initiate a transfer into the JLN, please contact your current League to request a transfer. Once your transfer has been initiated by your current League, you will receive transfer information from our Membership Services Coordinator.
