Current Focus Areas

The membership of the Junior League of Nashville votes to determine the focus area or areas that will be used to guide the League’s direction and decision-making with regard to its financial and volunteer resources. With the most recent vote, beginning in June 2023 and going through May 2028, JLN will be focused on two issues–childhood literacy and alleviating poverty.

Literacy

Vision: Through the establishment of strategic alliances, improve literacy outcomes for Nashville children and ensure that at-risk children and families have increased access to educational support programs and materials.

Poverty

Vision: Through the establishment of strategic alliances, we will seek to impact homelessness, food insecurity, mental health, workforce, and job readiness and development.
