2025-2026 Community Partners

The Junior League of Nashville is building a better Nashville by committing volunteers to the following community projects during our 2025-2026 year.

Agencies with an * will encompass both poverty and literacy focus areas.

LITERACY FOCUS AREA PARTNERS

*The Aloe Family

The Aloe Family serves resilient communities in Nashville that are going through challenges such as lack of family support, cyclical poverty, lack of transportation, immigration, asylum seeking, and more. They offer educational programs for homework help, English classes, and small business coaching to under-resourced individuals. They also offer fresh healthy food- a tool to empower strong minds and bodies.

Begin Bright

Begin Bright is the Nashville Public Library’s early literacy plan to set our community’s children up for kindergarten reading success.

Book’em

Book’em creates a more literate Nashville by helping economically disadvantaged children from birth through high school discover the joy and value of reading.

POVERTY FOCUS AREA PARTNERS

Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt

The Junior League of Nashville’s Home for Crippled Children, established in 1923, was the genesis of the Children’s Hospital. The Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt remains one of the most respected pediatric facilities in the country and is dedicated to meeting the unique healthcare needs of children, from newborns to young adults, and their families.

*Nashville Diaper Connection

Nashville Diaper Connection provides diapers to an average of 4,500 babies in need every month, helping to meet diaper needs for babies living in poverty.

Nashville LAUNCH Pad

Nashville LAUNCH Pad is a shelter for young adults aged 18 to 26. The organization works to create a network of temporary, safer, street-free sleeping shelters for unhoused young adults which are open and affirming to LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies.

The Store

Founded by Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, The Store goes beyond food aid—it’s a lifeline for families facing hunger. The Store’s free grocery model, combined with essential support services, empowers neighbors to build a brighter future.

LEGACY PARTNERS

Beginning in the Junior League of Nashville’s 104th year, all previous partners across Middle Tennessee will be recognized as Legacy Partners. This transition from the former Strategic Partner program aims to maintain and renew relationships with the organizations we have served over the years. Legacy Partner agencies will have direct access to volunteers through our “Done in a Day” and “Members in Motion” initiatives.
