What We’re Doing in the Community

Kids in the Kitchen

The Junior League of Nashville's annual Kids in the Kitchen is a free, family-friendly outing for kids encouraging healthy foods and exercise by providing hands on activities with our volunteers, local chefs and other local health professionals.

All Booked Up

The Junior League of Nashville is thrilled to partner with the Nashville Children’s Theater to bring All Booked Up to the children of Nashville. Through literacy workshops, character meet-and-greets, and more, children will leave with an excitement for reading like never before.

Leadership Development

Leadership development opportunities include specialized trainings; Junior League of Nashville University (JLNU), which prepares League members for leadership roles; and a Junior League class of Young Leaders Council, an 11-session training program addressing fundamental board skills.

Community Impact

Continuing our decades-long focus on women and children, the Junior League of Nashville will develop new initiatives in human trafficking and literacy, and continue our Kids in the Kitchen project, through our centennial in 2022. Read more about our community impact strategy here.
