Members in Motion

Our Spring Members in Motion event will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Members in Motion (MIM) is an opportunity for all JLN members to unite and give back to the Nashville community. This league-wide day of service, held in the fall and spring, is an example of the impact women who are committed to volunteerism and improving their community can make on a community in a single day.

The Fall 2022 event was held Saturday, October 22, 2022. More than 100 JLN volunteers gathered across Metro Nashville to support 19 local agencies including JLN partner agencies Book’em, Preston Taylor Ministries, and Youth Villages.

Together, JLN volunteers labeled and packed 733 books for Book’em, delivered milk to seniors on five Mobile Meal routes with St. Luke’s Community House, processed 200 shoes for Soles4Souls (which can provide food, shelter, and education for two months in impoverished countries), and much more. The Done in a Day committee thanks everyone for their participation in making this year’s events a success.
