Founding Day Fête FAQs

 

  • Can I purchase a ticket the evening of the event?
    • Tickets will not be sold the evening of the Fête. The last day to purchase tickets is Thursday, April 7th.
  • Will I receive my tickets in the mail?
    • No, tickets will not be issued. Guests will check-in upon arrival at City Winery.
  • What is the attire?
    • The attire is festive casual, which will encompass dressy denim and casual dresses to short cocktail dresses and everything in between.
  • When should Fête guests arrive?
    • This is a come and go affair from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.
  • Where should I park?
    • Guests can self-park in the paid lot in front of City Winery or use their favorite ride sharing app.
  • Do I have to be present at the event to bid on an auction item?
    • No, everyone can bid on items at our silent auction through our Handbid platform – whether they are in attendance at the event or bidding from afar.
  • How do I bid on items in the Silent Auction?
    • All bidding will be done via credit or debit card on the Handbid platform. We encourage you to download the Handbid app before the event. Once you download the app, Handbid will prompt you to login or create an account. Here you can safely provide your credit card information which is how you will be billed if you win an item. Next, you’ll want to search for “The Junior League of Nashville’s Founding Day Fete” to review and bid on our amazing auction items. For more information on how to use the app, please watch this video tutorial.
  • Do I need to bring cash to buy drinks at the event?
    • Each guest will receive two drink tickets at check-in, and a cash bar will also be available.
  • What are the health and safety protocols?
    • There are no mask or vaccine requirements currently in place at City Winery.
