The Junior League of Nashville is an organization of women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism. We welcome your interest in learning more about membership admission to the Junior League of Nashville.

Admission to the Junior League

In order to be considered for membership in the Junior League of Nashville, prospective members must:

  • Be 23 years of age or older (as of May 31, 2019)
  • Live in the greater Nashville area
  • Possess a commitment to voluntarism
  • Attend a New Member Information Session

Candidates must have attended a Potential New Member Information Session for admission.

Provisional Course for New Members

The Junior League of Nashville trains a class of first-year members (Provisionals) to be effective volunteers and leaders in our community each year. Provisional members complete a comprehensive training series that allows them to learn about our League structure and programs, as well as experience some of our community programs first-hand.

Once admitted as a Provisional member of the Junior League of Nashville, members must complete the following Provisional Course expectations:

Provisional Retreat (1)
Provisional Meetings (attend 5 out of 7 meetings)
GMMs (4, one of these may be a Board or Council Meeting)
Trainings (3)
Members in Motion/Monthly Service Options (2)
Graduation (1)
Provisional members are also expected to pay JLN dues.
