Message From the President

Welcome to the Junior League of Nashville (JLN)!  We had a magical year celebrating our Centennial and this year marks the start of our next 100 years.  One hundred years may have passed but our dedication to advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training remains at the forefront of our organization.

With more than 1,500 members, we continue to strive to represent a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences all while creating a significant impact within our community through our community partners.  Our mission continues to keep us focused and remind us why we, as members, continue to be a part of the JLN.

While we continue our efforts with like-minded women and serve our community, some of the work we will focus on this coming year includes:

  • Finding our new focus area – researching and finding an important need Nashville faces to help plan our next vision.
  • New partner agencies – with our new focus area, the JLN will be searching for new community partners or remaining with current partner agencies to continue our impact within the Nashville community.
  • In-Person Summit – we are excited to host our (hopefully) 1st in-person summit! For the last two years, we held our Women’s Summit virtually and hope to meet with our community in person this year!

It was so incredibly inspiring to spend so much time connecting with our members during our Centennial year, and I hope that excitement continues into this year.  I encourage you to re-engage with the League and our members by attending meetings at our headquarters, joining an affinity group or membership experience event, attending our fundraising events, or taking a member out for coffee to get to know one another other better.

This is such an exciting time to get involved with the League to help shape the significant impacts we will make in the future.  I am humbled to serve alongside each of our members and invite you to learn more about the League in any way that fits your availability.

Sincerely,

Taryn Anderson
