Provisional Members Support Pediatric Patients Through Hands-On Service Project

Monday, December 15, 2025

At the end of 2025, our Provisional members partnered with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University Medical Center to assemble pajama kits and craft kits for pediatric patients—supporting both comfort and creativity during their hospital stays. The pajama kits help provide children with comfortable and new clothes for their stay, while the craft kits offer engaging activities that encourage creativity and provide a positive distraction during treatment and recovery. Together, the kits are designed to help make hospital stays a little brighter for young patients and their families.

This project reflects Junior League of Nashville’s commitment to meaningful volunteer action and lasting community partnerships. Junior League of Nashville is committed to serving Nashville and the surrounding communities through hands-on volunteerism. By partnering with legacy community partners, members are able to make

a significant difference while strengthening relationships that support the well-being of Tennessee children and families.

For Provisional members, the project also provided an opportunity to connect with one another while serving the community. Working together, members strengthened relationships and built new connections through their shared commitment to supporting patients and families at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital.

This service project was one of the many opportunities throughout Junior League of Nashville’s 104th Year for members to make a meaningful difference in the community. As the league enters Year 105, it looks forward to building on this momentum by creating even more opportunities to serve, strengthen community partnerships, and support families across Middle Tennessee.
