SHOP | SAVE | SUPPORT Discount Shopping Card Supports Local Nashville Nonprofits October 24th – November 4th
The Junior League of Nashville’s (“JLN”) annual discount card to merchants around Greater Nashville provides an opportunity for the community to save money at over 160 retailers from October 24th – November 4th. 100% of the net proceeds generated from SHOP | SAVE | SUPPORT provide funding for Nashville’s community agencies through the Junior League of Nashville Community Endowment. This Endowment Fund provides grants and resources to 10+ partner agencies working to solve social issues across human trafficking and literacy in our community.
Your purchase of a $40 discount card (buy here) gives you access to 10-50% discounts to restaurants, gifts, food or services from various merchants around Nashville. This year’s participating merchants include local children and adult clothing retailers, local fitness studios, local and national furniture stores, and Nashville area attractions. For the first time, the card can be used for discounted memberships at the Nashville Zoo, Cheekwood, and The Frist Art Museum.
“The benefit of SHOP | SAVE | SUPPORT is threefold,” said Nahed Zehr, JLN president. “Firstly, shoppers benefit by saving money while shopping with our partner merchants. Secondly, our local economy benefits from increased purchases and sales tax revenue. Thirdly, and most importantly, women and children in our community benefit. With the funds raised from card sales, JLN provides grant funding, program materials, and volunteer resources to more than 10 local agencies working to improve cradle-to-career literacy and fight human trafficking. Since we began this fundraiser in 2012, JLN has raised more than $125,000 for our community partners.”
Cards are available to the public for $40 and can be purchased at select retailers and online at jlnashville.org. Select retailers include: Gus Mayer, The Container Store, Barton Perreira, Williams-Sonoma (The Mall at Green Hills), Levy’s Clothiers for Men and Women, and Gin-O’s Boutique in Franklin, TN.
The SHOP | SAVE | SUPPORT committee has also set up numerous fun events around Nashville during the shopping period and leading up to it. We hope you’re able to join us at one of our card selling events below.
