Thank you for your interest in the Junior League of Nashville!
The Admissions process for the current year is closed.

Application for membership is available to a prospective member at Admission Information meetings held in January and February of each year. A prospective member and her sponsor are required to attend one of three Admissions Information meetings, where they will receive an admissions application and sponsor form. Please check back for exact dates of Admissions Information meetings to be held in January and February 2011.  The deadline for application is March 1, 2011.  The completed application (2 copies), sponsor form, and payment of dues must all be submitted in order to be considered for membership. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications for membership in the Junior League of Nashville are accepted once a year. Requirements for admission to the Junior League of Nashville include: you must be 23 years of age or older; you must live in the greater Nashville area; you must possess a commitment to voluntarism; you must attend an Admissions Information meeting; and you must have a commitment from one Active or Sustaining member of the Junior League of Nashville to act as your sponsor.

First year members of JLN are considered Provisional Members and must complete the following Provisional Course requirements:

Provisional Meetings: Attend six (6) Provisional meetings.

General Membership Meetings: Attend a minimum of five (5) General Membership Meetings.

Council Meetings: Attend a minimum of one (1) Council meeting.

Training Sessions: Attend a minimum of one (1) training session.

Agency Tour: On-Site tours of several JLN funded community agencies.

Service Project: Participate in a minimum of one (1) service project.

Fundraising Shifts: Complete three (3) fundraising shifts for a total of 12 hours.

Mandatory 3 hour Provisional Orientation in August: time/date TBA, must be attended, no exceptions.

Pay Dues: Provisional dues are due on March 1, 2011 and are $325

Twice is Nice Quota: Must donate $50 worth of goods priced according to the TIN Handbook.
